A few words on happiness

Hi All,

I have recently been on a whirlwind tour of some extremely valuable websites that are focusing on creating the life of your dreams.  They aim to engage you with your passion and seek to drive you towards it.  As someone whose aim in life is to share health, wealth and happiness; then I believe that these websites provide a huge stimulus and springboard:

The way I define happiness is being the creator of your experience, choosing to take pleasure in what you have, right now, regardless of the circumstances, while being the best that you can be.        Leo Babauta

Find his website at:http://zenhabits.net/

I notice that on his site today he is featuring a u-tube presentation by Dr Michael Greger at Nutritionfacts.org.  I have not yet worked out how to get a u-tube clip on my blog (I am a technophobe as you may have noticed through my lack of tweet, twitter and facebook links) but fear not because you can check it out through zenhabits.net.  Dr Greger provides a very detailed and convincing blog and weekly u-tube updates around the power of veggies and the clogging and detrimental effects of dairy meat and eggs.

But I have side tracked.

I mentioned the legendary Tony Robbins in a previous post.  He is utterly devoted and a Mr Motivator.  Find him here: http://training.tonyrobbins.com/

“Tony Robbins provides an amazing vehicle for looking at your life, mapping out a mission, and determining what’s holding you back and what you need to move forward. Tony tapped into my soul and helped me see my life’s work more clearly.”
—Donna Karan, Legendary Fashion Designer

Someone who is beating a similar trail and offers some great tools to work with is Scott Dinsmore at Live Your Legend.net

If you need help to kick start anything in your life then you won’t go far wrong with any of these guys.

Of course I am hoping that in the weeks to come a certain girl here will also be offering a course to help you reach your dreams and to ensure that those dreams actually bring the happiness that you seek.

Watch this space.

Relationships

I have recently been avidly watching anything that I can get my hands on to do with Tony Robbins.  His passion for life is truly infectious.  I found the following link on relationships so compelling; the way he took two people who were struggling and showed them that it was their basic needs that were not being met by each other.

I won’t give it away but it really provides food for thought.  How many of us are meeting our own needs or the true needs of our loved ones?  Are you really happy or just getting by?
